PEROXAN TP is a first class sanitizer and disinfectant, presented as a concentrated powder containing a system which releases peroxacetic ions. When the product has been dissolved in water, it releases in a slow but continuous way peroxacetic ions, which work with the same action of peracetic acid, but more effectivly because more gradually. Peroxacetic ions release atomic oxygen which is able, through an oxidation of the microrganisms cell walls, to eliminate a large variety of micro organisms (gram+, gram-, eumycetes, sporigens and resistant bacteria) from the support where they live and to maintain a sanitizing action on the support after the treatment.
Excipients and additives in the product make the oxidizing action easier against the microrganisms and make easier their removal from the support.
Speed of action of PEROXAN TP is quick enough for the practical use and the product can be left for a long time on the surfaces.
